‘Make Up Your Mind’ by SOMMA & YUMA
SOMMA and YUMA, two thirds of the artist collective LE YORA, join forces again for ‘Make Up Your Mind’.
The track traces back to Scorpios Mykonos earlier this year, where the pair played to a packed dancefloor and left their show still buzzing from the atmosphere of the crowd. Rather than let the feeling fade, as soon as they arrived back at their rooms, they laid down the idea for ‘Make Up Your Mind’ — a direct response to what they felt that night, translated into a track of its own.
What they've come back with is a deep-house cut with a distinct R&B inflection running through it. The track is built around a vamping beat and filtered vocals that sit more texture than lead, resulting in the kind of propulsive groove that makes you lose all sense of time. It's a release that carries the same warmth and pull as that set on the island; an afterglow you can press play on.
